The church was built in the early years of the twentieth century and was one of Sir Robert Lorimer’s first major commissions as a young architect. It has classic Lorimer touches which have been preserved over the 100 years of use and combined tastefully with more modern stained glass windows and furnishings. It is a delightful example of a Scottish country church surrounded by well-kept gardens and yet not far from the centre of a city. As well as its architectural value, it is a place where generations of people have found acceptance, love and friendship, and space and opportunity to worship and pray.
We also have a good sized church hall which is ideal for parties or regular meetings. If you would like to make an enquiry about hiring our hall, please use this form.
