I am just back from the Edinburgh Diocesan Clergy Conference in Pitlochry. I always enjoy the company of my colleagues and this year was no different. The talks at the conference were given by the Rev'd Dave Tomlinson, Vicar of St.Luke's Church in west Holloway, London. Dave is the author of various books but notably; 'Post-evangelical' and 'How to be a bad Christian and a better human being'. He was asked to talk to us about re-enchanting the church. Much of what he said was not new territory for many of us but it helped to affirm us as a Diocese that we might be going in the right direction. Like all such conferences it is the chats in the bar and over coffee or in the car that are the most significant and give one food for thought.
