Ecumenical fun and worship

On Friday a group of us including my colleague from the URC the Rev'd Sue Kirkbride entertained the members of the Murrayfield Club. The Club is a day care centre for the frail elderly and those living with dementia and has been run by Murrayfield Churches Together for the last 21 years. It is a great place much valued by its members, their families and carers and the three churches. On Sunday we joined together again for a joint service of Holy Communion in the Parish Church to celebrate Pentecost (Whitsun). It was a joyful service and in it we all renewed our commitment to ministry and celebrated many ordination anniversaries the BBQ that followed was great too especially as the sun shone on us all.

Doesn't the secretary to the Club Trustees look great!
