Every year we hold a Summer Fruits Evening, this is a summer fete,
concert and a high tea. the evnt always kicks off with strawberries and
sparkling wine on the lawn and an opportunity to browse the book stall,
home baking and jam stall. The concert this year was given by the
Bruntsfield Boy Band - a jazz group of guys who are 'youthfully mature'.
it was good to see folk jigging around in the church to the music. The
bun-fight afterwards was superb and lots of new friends made and old
friends re-united. this year we were raising funds for the church and
for St.Columba's Hospice. The cake stall was in aid of the Murrayfield
Club (see MCT website).
