What's Happening‎ > ‎

This really makes you think and remember

One of the members of the Good Shepherd was telling me that if all those who died as a result of WWI marched four abreast past a stationary marker that it would take 89 days for everyone to pass by; if you think of it a single people passing that point it is almost a whole year! All those lives for what?

War can never be the right means to sorting out differences and we constantly need to remember how futile war can be. We must always talk and then talk some more until each side is truly 'heard' by the other and then agreement can be sought as to how to rectify the impasse. It takes time and much diplomacy and challenges our human nature, which is to fight but it is the way of God.
