Working and celebrating ecumenically! What's next?

This past Sunday saw the three congregations in Murrayfield from three different denominations (Scottish Episcopal, United Reformed and the Church of Scotland) join together for worship. These are always enjoyable events and it is very much like a large group of friends meeting up for a good time. MCT (Murrayfield Churches Together) has been going for well over 25 years and this is reflected in the depth of understanding we have for and of each other. Murrayfield is well blessed by its churches and the fact that we try to do as much together as we possibly can. See www.mct.org..uk for more information on what we get up to.

This coming Saturday sees a new initiative launched when the three congregations work together on Messy Church. This is a very exciting venture for all of us and we hope and pray that together we will reach out to the young families in the area. Please pray for us all in Murrayfield.
