Eternal God, who made the abbess Hilda to shine like a jewel her time and through her holiness and leadership blessed your Church with new life and unity: help us , like her, to yearn for the Gospel of Christ and to reconcile those who are divided;

through him who reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.

Everlasting God, whose will it is to restore all things in the kingdom of your well-beloved Son: mercifully grant that the peoples of the earth, now divided and enslaved by sin, may be freed and brought together under his most gracious rule; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord who lives and reigns with in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
